Agave Nectar Good or Bad?

We decided today to go through all of the cupboards for anything that was lingering such as chemicals/dairy/meat/sugar. We found that almost everything had sugar in it, even canned vegetables!

I've had multiple conversations with friends about how much sugar in added to products without us knowing. We still eat natural sugars that are found in fruits in vegetables. Instead of sugar, we have added raw organic honey, local maple syrup or vanilla bean to any recipe that asks for agave or sugar. Bay and I have never used agave in our cooking.

Right now Agave is all the rage. It is everywhere and in everything. The sad thing is people think it is good for you. Unless you are the Aztec's, in the wild, and burn the leafs to make the agave syrup, it's not organic with all of the added chemicals and processing, as read in the article, Agave Nectar: Good or Bad?
