We also got rid of soaps, toothpaste, mouth wash, deodorants, shampoos, conditioners, cleaning supplies, and any miscellaneous items that had chemicals in them. I put these items in the common area of our building.

To replace our chemical based products we went to Alberta Coop. We got Desert Essence Tooth Paste, Oregon Soap (Company), and Miracle Mouth Wash. The soap feel silky smooth and doesn't make our skin itchy like normal soaps. Warning: the Miracle Mouth Wash is intense. You may have to add some normal water to dilute it. It works wonders though. The Dessert Essence Tooth Paste is very mild in flavor. I like it because it counter acts the flavor of the mouth wash. Oh I also got new deodorant too called Alba Botanica. It doesn't keep you from sweating. However it keeps the body oder away. Plus sweating is natural. It's our body's way of cooling down.

I personally got rid of my underwear and tampons that weren't 100% organic, unbleached cotton. I got my underwear from PACT. I know they are expensive but a happy vag is a happy Kim. Plus they are made in the USA and provide support in non profit organizations.
